Baby Diapers

Hello, hello!  I'm still here, and have been doing some stamping...but not much posting.  I'll try to change that--starting with this cute invitation to a baby shower, which is shaped like a diaper.

I was very excited to get an electronic cutter for my birthday, and recently got to put it to work to make these invitations for a friend of a friend.  She saw a great baby shower invitation on Pinterest (haven't we all?) and wanted to make them herself.  I realized it would be much quicker--and much easier--to print and then cut out the invitations with my ecutter, so that's just what I did.

But nothing is complete without a little stamping, and it wouldn't be a baby shower invitation without Fox and Friends.  In keeping with her jungle theme for the shower and the nursery, I called on the monkey, giraffe and lion to give these diapers a little extra flair.

Hope you like them!

I Mustache You A Question...

Aren't these simply ADORABLE???

If you haven't gotten on the My Digital Studio (MDS) band wagon, what are you waiting for?!?!  And there's a 30-day FREE TRIAL.  So much cheaper, easier and more space-saving than traditional stamps, paper, ink, punches, and embellishments.  With the 'Many Mustaches' download it was easy to create these cuties.  And I can just change a few of the colors for a totally different look.

For the client, Jenny, I made a few samples for her to choose from.  Instead of spending all that time to cut, glue, punch and measure card stock, I was able to click together a 4 samples in almost no time.  Once I had all the samples made, I emailed them to her to decide and then just took into account any of her minor edits.  She chose the invite on the bottom left & wanted me to incorporate blue & green for her party color theme.  Done & done!

Happy MDS card-making!

Fall For This Gorgeous Wreath!

This beauty is hanging on my front door right now:

All you need is what you see below.  And, you can customize it however you like.  I chose metallic gold as my accent color (to match my door knobs/hardware) but there are as many possibilities as there are colors of spray paint.  The wreaths would be just as beautiful with accents of white or silver painted pine cones.

How great would these be as holiday/Thanksgiving table centerpieces or a table scape?  You can put these around platters with pillar candles of varying heights.  Or, you can fit the wreath snugly around vases or glass cylinders (filled with more pine cones or water & floating candles)  by getting smaller wreath forms.

Hope you have a great time decorating your front door!
